Sales volume at Schmolz + Bickenbach increased by 11.5% to 545,000 tonnes in quarter one, 2018, up from 489,000 tonnes in quarter one, 2017. There was continued good demand in all end markets and regions, the company said. The average sales price per tonne increased to Euro1,521, from Euro1,447 in quarter one, 2017. The adjusted EBITDA of Euro70.3m was 5.6% higher than in quarter one, 2017.
